Asphalt's incredible flexibility, adhesiveness, and durability has allowed to become the most widely-used paving material in the world.  However, for all its positive qualites, asphalt does have its drawbacks.  Its complex chemical makeup makes it succeptible to gradual degradation from weather, salines, and petroleum-based liquids.  Over time, the molecular bonds holding the asphalt together will break down.  Cracks will begin to appear in the asphalt's surface, which widen and deepen as the chemical bonds continue to detoriate and the damage remains untreated.

Asphalt sealing protects pavement from the elements and chemicals that cause it to break down.  By protecting it from the sun, water, and gasoline, and helping it to resist oxidation and corrosion, seal coating can double the life of your pavement, saving you huge sums of money in the long run.  U.S. Outworkers uses a latex-based emulsion derived from domestically-produced coal.
